(Bristol Electrician) Today i had to replace the electric ceramic induction hob in the Bristol area , They are not very good at taking impact from falling objects especially if the hob is under kitchen cabinets , They are ideal for breakfast bars in a free open space, I Replaced the electric induction hob for a stainless steal electric solid hob reason being that there are kitchen cabinets above where the old electric hob is positioned. The stainless steal electric hobs can take way much more impact than the electric ceramic induction hobs due to its hard stainless steal casing , There are some faults with the electric solid hobs the elements tend to go on the hob ring that is used the most where as you would not get this sort of fault on the electric induction hobs.
